Mission is crucial in the life of Rockingham Road Baptist Church and we seek to spread the good news of God’s love and the fact that Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross to save all people, was raised to life again by God the Father and now lives in his followers through God the Holy Spirit. We support various projects abroad and aim to reach out to the local community and show them by action and words that Jesus loves them and has a great future for them.
We have a ‘Mission of the month’ that we focus on and pray for.
Missions of the Month for January
BMS and Link Missionaries
We continually pray for our Link Missionaries Mark and Andrea Hotchkin, Medical missionaries working out in Chad. http://www.bmsworldmission.org/amhotchkin. We enjoyed a joint service at Carey Baptist Church Kettering in September presented by BMS. Andrea and Mark have now returned to Chad to continue God's work there.
