Welcome to the website of Rockingham Road Baptist Church, Kettering. We hope it will give you an idea of who we are and some of the activities we do.
We are a small, friendly and very inclusive church comprising of members with a variety of backgrounds and abilities. We aim to be a welcoming, worshipping and witnessing community, wanting to see God at work in and through us so that we show His love to those around and see the church grow, not just in numbers but in fellowship and faith.
If you have moved into the area and are looking for a church or are just visiting this part of Northamptonshire, please find out more about us by contacting our minister, Rev Laura Staves.
We meet for public worship at 10:30am on Sunday mornings in our church building and you are very welcome to join us. On the last Sunday of the month we have an outdoor service where you can enjoy singing. We have communion on the second Sunday of the month.
We also run a Craft & Chat session on a Thursday afternoon in the church halls where we can meet safely outside. Now that restrictions have been lifted, we will be inside if it's wet or too cold. See the Craft & Chat page for more details.
Meanwhile we invite you to:
- Join in our weekly Bible studies with members of the church (see calendar for details of the next one);
- Listen to our weekly service podcasts online, or else you can listen to them on the phone by dialing 01536 909787. You will only be charged the cost of a local rate call (free in most phone contracts) as the other costs are covered by the church.
- And for those who are new to Christianity you can explore the Christian Faith further with Hope for All.
- Video clips of some of our morning services are on our Facebook page
